Welcome to the Fosse Deanery Resources

"All the Christians here send greetings." (1 Corinthians 16.20)

About the Deanery

The Fosse Deanery is part of the Diocese of Coventry in the Church of England, which is part of the worldwide Anglican Communion.

There are eight groups of Parishes within the Deanery, each with its own challenges and strengths - from a busy town-centre church that welcomes thousands of tourists each year, to a rural church in a village of just twenty-three people.

About this website

One of the aims of this website is to support church members in the Fosse Deanery by providing a forum for the sharing of resources and ideas.

Another is to share more widely the models, ideas and activities that have been tried and tested within our Deanery, and to provide a forum for other Christians to share their models, ideas and activities with us.

By following the links in the menu on the left, you will find advice about creating and sustaining a variety of models of children, youth and faith development work. You will also find links to books and websites that we have found useful in our work with both children and adults.

As well as a host of advice and resources, this website contains a growing number of teaching and activity ideas, all of which have been tried and tested in a variety of church contexts. Please do contact the if you have any questions.
