Please use the tabs at the top of this website to access resources to support Collective Worship in Primary Schools.
Teachers, Clergy and lay people with responsibility for Collective Worship have all expressed a desire for training and support in this area.
The Deanery Coordinator can arrange Inset days, half-days or twilight sessions on Collective Worship, with the suggestion that relevant Clergy and lay people could be invited as well as teachers. Please contact for more information.
The Coventry Diocesan Board of Education provides a
range of training opportunities, including courses on Collective
Worship.
For more information, please contact Joanne Evans: 02476 521250,
There are teams of lay people around the Deanery who provide weekly or fortnightly assemblies in their local Primary Schools.
All of these teams are generous in their support for other Parishes who wish to investigate the possibility of setting up a team of their own.
Please contact to be put in touch with a local assembly team, or to arrange a time to observe a team in action.
Although neither the Diocesan Board of Education team nor the Deanery Coordinator can realistically deliver regular assemblies in individual schools, both may well be available to plug gaps in the Deanery where needed.
Please contact or the PA to the Director of Diocesan Education () for more information.
